The Cégep de Trois-Rivières ranks first in the list « Canada’s Top 50 Research colleges 2025 », published by the organization RE$EARCH Infosource. In addition to being the leader in Canada, the Cégep is also positioned at first place in the ranking in the small college category in Canada.
Efforts in artificial intelligence
A few years ago, C2T3 began its research efforts on cloud computing and artificial intelligence. This repositioning in this constantly growing industry has notably enabled the Cégep de Trois-Rivières to obtain this recognition today.
It is a real pride for the Cégep de Trois-Rivières to be first in Canada in research. Our work has significant impacts on the development and growth of several local and international businesses as well as the community. We are also particularly proud of our distinction for our efforts in artificial intelligence, as it is an area that affects the population and businesses. As the use of AI will continue to grow, it is a priority for us to continue exploration and research in this area.
